Speech to APEX about U.S. Regulations for Imports of Food Products

Speaking to Panama's Exporters Association

On October 9, 2009, Arlene Villalaz, FAS Agricultural Specialist, gave a presentation to the Panamanian Exporters Association (APEX) regarding U.S. regulations for imports of food products.

The United States represents the largest export market for Panamanian agricultural products, so Panamanian exporters are highly interested in complying with all U.S. regulations.  Therefore, the objective of this presentation was to help facilitate bilateral trade.
