What's the FBU Mission

The Federal Benefits Unit (FBU) of the American Embassy in Panama assists U.S. citizens, Panamanians, an third country nationals who worked and retired with the Civil Service, Social Security Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, and Office of Workers' Compensation Programs under the U.S. Department of Labor.
TO OBTAIN INFORMATION OF THE SERVICES PROVIDED, PLEASE CHOOSE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING AGENCIES:
SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATIONHours of Operation: The FBU is open to the public Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon and from 1:30 p.m to 3:30 p.m., and
closes on the last
Thursday of each month for administrative processing and on U.S. and Panamanian holidays.
Location: The FBU is located in the U.S. Consulate, Building 783, Avenida Demetrio Basilio Lakas, Clayton.
