People to People Program Assists Nutre Hogar - Chiriqui

The U.S. Embassy community came together once again to make a significant contribution to the underprivileged youth of Panama.

The embassy community learned from PTPC about the need for a washer for Nutre Hogar nutritional center during the January CLO coffee. The spouses were touched and unanimously agreed to take a collection to purchase a washer for the center.

The funds provided for a Heavy Duty Maytag (Super Size Capacity 24lbs.) two-speed combo with 10 cycles. The washer has a five-year warranty on the motor and one year in other parts and labor.

Ambassador Eaton presented the donation on behalf of the U.S. Embassy community during his visit to Chiriqui Saturday, March 25th.
