Embassy People-to-People Coordinator Martina Hand attended the United Nations Information Center at the invitation of Jamina Jimenez, President, Educación en Valores. On this day the NGO held a conference for 60 at-risk teens from Centro de Formación (CEFODEA), which addressed the risks of vandalism, drugs and alcohol. The presentation was projected on a large screen thanks to the U.S. Embassy’s Narcotics Affairs Section, who donated the projector to Educación en Valores.
