People to People Program

June 2003

In June 2003, Ambassador Linda Watt established an Embassy People-to-People Program to highlight the humanitarian connections between the United States and Panama. The program connects those in need in Panama with those in the United States who can provide support.

Ambassador Watt is hopeful that our sincere commitment to volunteerism and community service will bring our nations closer. Sharing among neighbors has always been an integral value of the American people. Through the People-to-People program, the United States is reaching out to our Panamanian neighbors, making a difference by working together.
