At-Risk Youth Opportunity Program– USAID/Panama
This past Friday, February 5th, USAID/Panama (United States Agency for International Development) published a Small Grants Program under their soon to be implemented Community Youth at-Risk Activity. The Small Grants Program is directed to non-governmental organizations for the implementation of prevention activities directed at youth at-risk in the municipalities of Panama, San Miguelito and Colon. The objective of the $100,000 available for the first phase of this program is to identify and support initiatives that respond directly to at-risk youth needs at the community level. The grants will have a $10,000 ceiling per grant, will be evaluated on a first come first serve basis, and will be awarded based on the published evaluation criteria.
The last date to receive proposals is August 4, 2010.
