Public-Private Partnerships Bring Symphony of the Americas to Panama

Through public-private partnerships with American Airlines, the Panamanian Bern Hotel Organization, and Multicentro Mall, Embassy Panama sponsored the August 13 – 20 visit of the Symphony of the Americas’ “Summerfest 2007 Tour” of Austria, Florida, Argentina, and Panama as part of the Embassy’s cultural outreach programming. During its week-long stay, the Symphony performed at local schools, gave a Gala concert at Panama’s national theater, and played for more than 500 people at Multicentro mall.
