The U.S. Embassy in Panama congratulates Irving Saladino on winning Panama’s first Olympic gold medal in the long jump. Irving, an Embassy partner in supporting programs for Panamanian young people, has made us all proud with his victory and with his character, values, and his warmth that he has shared with so many. We congratulate him and the country of Panama on this remarkable achievement.
