Visit of Secretary of State Colin L. Powell to Panama

Secretary of State Colin L. Powell visited Panama on Wednesday, September 1, 2004, to lead the Presidential Delegation to the inauguration of President Martin Torrijos.

The United States welcomed this opportunity to reaffirm our close ties to the Panamanian people and to participate in this important celebration of Panamanian democracy.
