Arrival of First Donations from the US to Panamanian flood victims

Arrival of emergency supplies

In response to request from the Panamanian government for assistance in disaster relief to the remote areas in the Chiriqui, Bocas del Toro and Colon provinces affected by rain and floods, US Ambassador Stephenson received the first emergency donations arriving from the US, that consisted of supplies for a total of $135,000 and more than 48,000 tons of cargo: 5,000 blankets, 5,000 higienic kits and 5,000 emergency kits.
